At Rainforest Expeditions we care about you and the experience you deserve. An important part of our relationship with our guests and partners has as its main focus the clear communication of the processes and the experience. The health and safety of our travelers and team is a fundamental priority for us and the reopening of our eco-lodges.
The safety of our guests is one of our top priorities. Our greatest strength is our permanent connectivity, which allows us to maintain constant communication even in a remote environment like the Amazon rainforest.
Our ecolodges are located in exclusive areas accessible only by river, with no nearby roads—providing a more controlled and secure environment.
With more than 35 years of experience, we have developed strict safety protocols to ensure a fast and efficient response to any emergency.
Additionally, we have:
-
Permanent monitoring during transfers, including vehicle tracking and specialized security.
-
Continuous surveillance at our ecolodges, with trained personnel and security camera systems in common areas.
In alignment with our travel insurance requirements and internal policies, we maintain 24/7 connectivity. For this reason, we use Starlink in our buses, boats, and lodges, ensuring constant communication among our teams and with emergency services.
This allows us to offer a secure, well-organized, and reliable experience in a truly unique natural environment.
